Discover Our Process
From raw wood
to your home.
We started in 2024 with a simple belief: natural wood, worked by skilled hands, produces objects of lasting beauty. This is how every Wood Evoke piece is made — from selecting the timber to the moment it arrives at your door.
Local wood, with imported options on demand
We primarily work with locally sourced natural wood — oak, walnut, teak, and mango wood. Each piece of timber is selected by hand, reading its grain, weight, and warmth before committing to it. For customers who want something premium or specific, we also source and offer imported wood varieties on request. Whatever the origin, it is always solid natural wood. No MDF. No composites. No compromises.
Hand-turned by master artisans
Our artisans have dedicated years to learning their craft. Each piece is hand-turned on a traditional lathe, shaped with patience and precision. The process is slow by design — rushing produces inconsistency, and we do not accept inconsistency in anything that leaves our workshop.
Natural oil, hand-applied
We finish every piece with a natural oil that penetrates deep into the grain, rather than sitting on the surface like a lacquer. This means the finish deepens and improves with age. Over years of use, your piece becomes more beautiful — not less. Each coat is hand-applied and hand-buffed between applications.
Fabric shades, individually fitted
Our lampshades are made from cotton and linen fabrics chosen for their warmth and light diffusion. Each shade is individually fitted to its base to ensure perfect alignment. The shade frame is hand-soldered and the fabric hand-stretched and fixed without mechanical fasteners.
Individually inspected before dispatch
Before any piece leaves our workshop, it is personally inspected by a senior artisan. We check the finish, the shade, the electrical fittings, and the overall balance. Only when it meets our standard does it get packaged. We do not batch-inspect — every piece, individually, every time.
Carefully packaged and delivered to your door
Each piece is wrapped in kraft paper and linen, then double-boxed with custom foam inserts shaped to protect it in transit. We have spent considerable effort on our packaging because we know that what arrives at your door is your first physical experience of Wood Evoke. Every order is handled with care and delivered with full tracking provided.
What we stand for
No shortcuts
Every step in our process is done properly. We do not use machine finishing, synthetic stains, or mass-produced components. Craft takes time, and we give it that time.
More than just lamps
We started with lighting, but our vision is bigger. We are building a wood brand — expanding into furniture, home decor, kitchenware, gifting, and every niche where natural wood belongs. This is just the beginning.
Made in Pakistan
Our entire operation — from timber sourcing to final inspection — happens in Lahore. We are proud of our craft heritage and we work with artisans who have dedicated their lives to woodworking.
Natural materials, always
We primarily use locally sourced natural wood, and we also offer imported wood for customers who want premium or rare varieties. Local or imported, it is always solid natural wood — never synthetic, never fake.
Honest pricing
Our prices reflect the true cost of making things properly. We do not mark up excessively, and we do not cut costs to appear cheaper. What you pay is what it costs to make something that lasts.
We stand behind our work
If something is wrong with your order, we make it right. No arguments, no small print. We believe that confidence in your product is the foundation of any genuine craft business.
